• Adhere to all safety precautions essential for working on Engines and auxiliaries. Adherence to proper lockout procedure / line clear system followed in the organization.
• Carry out required IC engines and Auxiliaries (Pumps, Reciprocating compressors, heat exchangers, Oil separators) maintenance tasks individually.
• Cleaning of Engine parts and assisting Sr. technicians for installation
• Notify unsafe conditions, acts to superiors & attend departmental safety meeting without fail.
• Suggest improvement jobs noticed during working for the improvement of work place or safety, if any, to superiors.
• Check the machine after the maintenance activity
• Assisting Technician/Sr. Technician in case of breakdowns.
• Write the report after the maintenance activity and report to the concern supervisor.
• Handling the shift operation individually, while on the shift. Write the proper report and inform to the concern Engineer about the abnormality.
• Understand about the use of tool and tackles •
• Troubleshooting.
• Hand tools skills.
• Mechanical ability
• Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English language.
Technical Diploma in Diesel Mechanics / High School or any other related discipline.
